There is a drop in the total positions of commercials by 4,915 contracts to -89,502 contracts.

The total positions of large speculators increased by 12.0% to 79922 contracts.

British Pound

The Commitments of Traders report shows an increase in open interest by 3.7% to 305564 contracts.

The total positions of commercials increased slightly to 39,043 contracts.

There is also an increase in the total positions of large speculators by 1456 contracts to -34276 contracts.

Canadian Dollar

According to the Commitments of Traders, open interest declined by 1.2% to 225,978 contracts.

Commercials reduced their total positions by 8.0% to 98897 contracts.

The total positions of large speculators increased by 7,573 contracts to -88510 contracts.

Japanese Yen

Commitments of Traders data show a decrease in open interest by 12.2% to 240,510 contracts.

Commercials reduced their total positions by 7.0% to 63,503 contracts.

The total positions of large speculators increased by 7676 contracts to -52122 contracts.

A relatively high index of total positions among commercials indicates the strengthening of the currency in the medium term.

A relatively high index of total positions among large speculators indicates a weakening of the currency in the medium term.
