British Pound

The Commitments of Traders report indicates a decrease in open interest by 22.7% to 236256 contracts.

The total positions of the commercials remained practically unchanged at the level of 34766 contracts.

There is an insignificant increase in the total positions of large speculators to -30154 contracts.

Canadian Dollar

According to the Commitments of Traders, open interest grew by 5.9% to 239,228 contracts.

Commercials reduced their total positions by 14.3% to 84,722 contracts.

The total positions of large speculators increased by 6877 contracts to -16663 contracts.

Japanese Yen

The Commitments of Traders data show a decrease in open interest by 14.4% to 205,786 contracts.

Commercials increased their total positions by 7.2% to 68067 contracts.

The total positions of large speculators slightly increased to -50076 contracts.

A relatively high index of total positions among commercials indicates the strengthening of the currency in the medium term.

A relatively high index of total positions among large speculators indicates a weakening of the currency in the medium term.
