British Pound

The Commitments of Traders report indicates a decrease in open interest by 6.9% to 226558 contracts.

The total positions of the commercials remained practically unchanged at the level of 21286 contracts.

The total positions of large speculators increased by 5019 contracts to -22246 contracts.

Canadian Dollar

According to the Commitments of Traders, open interest increased by 7.7% to 190,396 contracts.

Commercials reduced their total positions to -9097 contracts.

There is a significant growth in the total positions of large speculators to -5736 contracts.

Japanese Yen

The Commitments of Traders data show an increase in open interest by 8.9% to 277101 contracts.

There is a significant growth in the total positions of commercials by 41.4% to 134,274 contracts.

The total positions of large speculators decreased by 41360 contracts to -114074 contracts.

A relatively high index of total positions among commercials indicates the strengthening of the currency in the medium term.

A relatively high index of total positions among large speculators indicates a weakening of the currency in the medium term.
